Register with MasterCard’s “online access” so you can:

  • View account balances.
  • Review full account statements –– up to 12 months previous.
  • Confirm available credit.
  • View WorldPoints activity.

Set up a Pre–Authorized payment

When you sign up for MBNA's Pre–Authorized Debit service, your bank account will automatically be debited monthly with an amount of your choice. If you’d like to pay the balance in full each month, simply hand–write “Pay in full” in the payment amount section.

Print the Pre–Authorization Debit Agreement, complete it, sign it and fax it to MBNA at 1–800–871–0994 to take advantage of the pre–authorized payment option.

If you've applied for a WorldPoints MasterCard and would like to inquire about the status of your application, please contact MBNA at 1–888–898–1620, Monday to Thursday: 8 AM to 9 PM EST; Friday: 8 AM to 7 PM EST.

Redeem WorldPoints for rewards

  • To redeem WorldPoints or view redemption options call 1–877–877–3703 or visit www.myworldpoints.ca.
  • Upon activation of the card, you will be sent a WorldPoints Redemption Catalogue in the mail.
  • WorldPoint redemption can begin with as few as 1,000 WorldPoints for gift certificates at select retailers.
  • Merchandise redemption starts at 2,500 WorldPoints.
  • Redemption for travel (on major carriers with no blackout dates or airline frequent flyer restrictions) begins at 10,000 WorldPoints (=$100 credit toward flight cost) and can include anything else you can book through a travel agency (e.g. hotel, car rental, train).
  • WorldPoints may only be redeemed if your account is in good standing and has active charging privileges. Some restrictions may apply.

You cannot redeem the Manulife One reward or travel rewards online. To redeem WorldPoints for the Manulife One reward or travel rewards, call the WorldPoints Redemption Centre at 1–877–877–3703.
